About me

Right from when I was a small child, I have always loved nature, animals, being outdoors and being creative. They have been strong influences throughout my life and are still now.

How I discovered homeopathy

Homeopathy first came into my life after I had my daughter as I wanted to help her to be as healthy as possible in a natural way. A close friend of mine who was also a new mum gave me a present of Arnica cream and suggested I use it for any bumps and bruises my daughter happened to have. It was so helpful that I wanted to know more about how it worked. A local homeopath was running a first aid course in homeopathy which I attended, fell in love with its gentle healing powers and the rest is history! That was 30 years ago.

My qualifications

Later in 1998 I qualified from the College of Homeopathy (LCH) and have been practicing ever since. I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (MARH). Following on from this I completed a one-year Postgraduate course in Homeopathy and Energy with Paul Francis. I became passionate about the way homeopathy can help a person on so many levels – not only on the physical but also mental, emotional and energetic levels.

How homeopathy has helped me

For myself homeopathy helped me get over asthma and hay fever for which I am forever grateful. It did take a while to clear the symptoms but now I can be out in nature and around animals easily, which I do daily walking my dogs. These walks are my solace time with my beautiful lurchers (Boo and Sunny) and they bring joy to my heart.

My continuing professional development

I am continually furthering my education both of homeopathy and my own self-development. This is good for me but also good so I can grow with my patients. Earlier in 2019, I studied at the Dr Joshis’ Homeopathic workshop in India, learning a system of Mapping Personalities through live cases. I plan to continue studying this further in the future

Over the years my interest in learning has led me to train in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as Tapping, and Canine Flow Practice. These practices help by working with the energy of the person or animal.  If you would like any more information, please just contact me.

I am a member of The Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH). The ARH is a UK professional organisation which supports and promotes a high standard of safe, effective homeopathic practice.
